ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANTS

Embark on your journey into paediatric care by joining Explore and Soar as a Therapy Assistant. Under the mentorship of seasoned and enthusiastic Occupational Therapists, you will collaborate to realise therapeutic objectives for the families we serve.

We actively seek dedicated Therapy Assistants who are either currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy at university or are established allied health assistants seeking a refreshing change of pace. Explore and Soar presents a diverse range of opportunities and experiences within the role of an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

As a Therapy Assistant at Explore and Soar, you will gain exposure to a variety of children, teenagers and young adults. Your tenure with us will not only foster personal growth but also facilitate valuable connections within the allied health sector.

Allied Health Assistant requirements

  • To be completing your university degree in OT, or completed your Allied Health Assistant Certificate at Tafe.
  • A keen interest or experience in paediatrics or mental health OT services.
  • Ability to independently complete therapy programs with clients under direction from our OT’s
  • Ability to learn and engage in a range of intervention and program modalities such as one-on-one sessions, peer/ sibling sessions, community access or social group programs in our local communities.
